Moving to the United States from the former East Germany in my early 20s, I earned my masters degree in business, and was fortunate to join a global commercial graphics company based at the center of the digital revolution- Silicon Valley. Through serendipity I was asked to develop an event ticketing website for a live event company. The project revealed that there was an opportunity to leapfrog competition by leveraging emerging software technology to create faster and lower cost event ticketing solutions. This launched my interest in programming and entrepreneurship, leading me to found VBO Tickets. Today I guide a high growth global organization of developers, designers, sales, marketing, and technology experts. We strive to improve event ticketing and assist amazing organizations and creative people to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
While my entrepreneurial passion is VBO Tickets, my life is complete with my wonderful wife, son and close supportive friends. They have made the long-term investment in building a successful company that helps people share their creativity and passion everyday deeply satisfying.
